Who we are

UWICerts is a team of ICT Experts within Mona Information Technology Services (MITS), the information communication technology arm of the University of the West Indies (UWI), and we are committed to meeting the information communication needs of the campus and organizations that utilize desktop productivity tools. We are committed to aiding individuals to attain world class computer skills, and through Certiport, a globally recognized certification!

What we do

UWICerts, through our partnership with Certiport, provides certification in desktop productivity applications which range from Microsoft Office suite to, in the future, Adobe Photoshop. Our list of certifications will continue to grow as the needs of our clients increase. It is also our focus to provide the training support necessary to move individuals to a level where they are certification candidates. Support at the basic, intermediate and advanced levels is another strategy that we use to advance digital literacy while creating steps for individuals to achieve their goals in becoming certified with Certiport.
